About the artist Denise Di Battista
Denise is a self taught artist from West Wales, she has a particular fondness for Abergavenny and the surrounding area and spends much of her time painting in this locality.
Denise states her method of painting is subject led; her work often appears impressionistic, however for certain compositions she also paints in a deliberately ‘primitive’ manner producing work of a very colourful nature.
